Yoozerz Terms of Use

Welcome to Yoozerz.
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Yoozerz website, applications, and services (collectively, “Yoozerz”), provided by Yoozerz, LLC (“Yoozerz,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
By accessing or using Yoozerz, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use Yoozerz.
1. What Yoozerz Does
Yoozerz helps homeowners build and rely on a trusted team of home service professionals and benefit from the experiences and recommendations of people they know.
Yoozerz may allow users to save service professionals, share experiences, discover professionals through their trusted network, communicate with others, and use other tools designed to make caring for a home easier.
Yoozerz is a technology platform.
We do not provide home repair, maintenance, construction, or other home services ourselves, and we are not a party to agreements between homeowners and service professionals.
2. Recommendations and Service Professionals
A central idea behind Yoozerz is that the experiences of people you trust can help you make more confident decisions.
However, a recommendation, connection, profile, appearance in a user’s Home Team or Circle, or other information available through Yoozerz does not constitute an endorsement, certification, warranty, or guarantee by Yoozerz.
Experiences with service professionals can vary.
You are responsible for deciding whether a service professional is appropriate for your needs and, when appropriate, verifying information such as qualifications, licensing, insurance, availability, pricing, references, permits, or other requirements.
Any agreement for services is between you and the service professional.
3. Beta and Evolving Features
Yoozerz is currently being developed and tested with homeowners.
During the beta, features may change, improve, be added, be removed, or work differently as we learn how people use Yoozerz.
You may encounter bugs, interruptions, incomplete functionality, or other issues typical of an early-stage product.
We appreciate feedback from beta participants, but participation does not guarantee that any particular suggestion or feature will be implemented.
4. Accounts
Some Yoozerz features may require an account.
You agree to provide accurate information when creating or using an account and to take reasonable steps to keep your login credentials secure.
You are responsible for activity occurring through your account and should contact us if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.
5. Information You Contribute
Yoozerz may allow you to add information about service professionals, share experiences, make recommendations, create notes, communicate with other users, or contribute other content.
You remain responsible for information you submit.
By contributing content to Yoozerz, you give us permission to host, store, process, display, and use that content as reasonably necessary to operate, improve, and provide Yoozerz and its features.
You should only submit information that you have the right to provide.
Please do not submit content that is knowingly false, misleading, unlawful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, invasive of another person’s privacy, or otherwise inappropriate.
6. Acceptable Use
Please use Yoozerz in a way that respects other people and the service.
You may not use Yoozerz to:
Violate applicable laws or regulations
Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity
Submit knowingly false or fraudulent information
Harass, threaten, abuse, or harm others
Interfere with the operation or security of Yoozerz
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts, systems, or data
Introduce malicious software or code
Scrape, harvest, or systematically extract information from Yoozerz
without permission
Use Yoozerz for spam or unauthorized commercial solicitation
We may restrict or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect Yoozerz, its users, or others.
7. Service Professionals
Service professionals who appear on Yoozerz may be added by homeowners, may participate directly in Yoozerz, or may be represented through information contributed or obtained through other lawful means.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, Yoozerz does not independently verify every statement, credential, license, insurance policy, qualification, price, availability, or representation associated with a service professional.
Service professionals are responsible for the services they provide and for complying with applicable laws, licensing requirements, permits, insurance requirements, and professional obligations.
8. Transactions and Payments
Unless explicitly stated otherwise for a particular feature, Yoozerz does not currently process payments between homeowners and service professionals.
Pricing, scheduling, scope of work, payment terms, warranties, disputes, and other terms relating to home services are matters between the homeowner and the service professional.
9. Feedback
We welcome ideas, comments, suggestions, and feedback about Yoozerz—especially during the beta.
If you provide feedback, you agree that we may use it to evaluate, develop, improve, and operate Yoozerz without restriction or compensation to you.
That doesn’t mean we own your personal experiences or other content simply because you gave us feedback.
10. Intellectual Property
Yoozerz and its underlying software, branding, design, logos, text, graphics, and other materials created by or for Yoozerz are owned by Yoozerz or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
These Terms give you permission to use Yoozerz for its intended purposes. They do not transfer ownership of Yoozerz or its intellectual property to you.
11. Third-Party Services and Links
Yoozerz may contain links to or integrate with websites, tools, or services operated by third parties.
We do not control those third parties and are not responsible for their services, content, availability, security, or privacy practices.
Your use of third-party services may be subject to their own terms and policies.
12. Availability and Changes
We want Yoozerz to be useful and reliable, but we cannot guarantee that it will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue features or portions of Yoozerz as the service evolves.
13. Disclaimer of Warranties
To the extent permitted by law, Yoozerz is provided “as is” and “as available.”
We do not guarantee that information available through Yoozerz will always be accurate, complete, current, or suitable for a particular purpose.
We also do not guarantee the quality, safety, reliability, availability, pricing, or performance of any service professional or services obtained through Yoozerz.
Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or rights that cannot legally be excluded.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Yoozerz, LLC and its officers, employees, contractors, affiliates, and agents will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of Yoozerz.
To the extent permitted by law, Yoozerz is not responsible for losses, damages, injuries, disputes, property damage, service failures, or other issues arising from interactions or transactions between homeowners, service professionals, or other users.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited.
15. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Yoozerz, LLC and its officers, employees, contractors, affiliates, and agents from claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and reasonable expenses arising from your unlawful use of Yoozerz, your violation of these Terms, or content you submit in violation of another person’s rights.
16. Termination
You may stop using Yoozerz at any time.
We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, created risk or harm for Yoozerz or others, or misused the service.
Sections of these Terms that by their nature should continue after termination will remain in effect.
17. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
Any disputes relating to these Terms or Yoozerz will be handled in courts of competent jurisdiction in Illinois, unless applicable law provides otherwise.
18. Changes to These Terms
Yoozerz will continue to evolve, and these Terms may change with it.
If we make material changes, we will update the “Last Updated” date and provide additional notice when required by law.
Your continued use of Yoozerz after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of those Terms to the extent permitted by law.
